The role of an education recruiter will require some early starts to help Schools fill the early morning placement, however unlike any other sector hours are typically reduced during Schools holidays when the Schools are closed.
Your role will involve:
Advertising, interviewing and vetting Teachers and support staff
Business development calls
School visits to both potential and existing clients
Negotiating pay and charge rates
Compliance, CRB’s, Reference checks, list 99 checks
Teachers are graded from M1 – M6 which refers to how many years they have been Teaching.
Healthcare recruitment agencies supply Doctors, Nurses, Care workers and support staff across many health care sectors including General Medicine, A&E, Psychiatry, Occupational Health, Pathology and many, many more.
Agencies supply to the NHS and Primary care Trusts usually on a preferred supply framework (buying solutions) and also to the private sector.
Health care staff such as Doctors can also be sourced from abroad due to the shortage in the UK.
Compliance is a critical part of the process.
If an agency wishes to supply qualified Nurses they must also have an CQC registered Nurses working for them in some capacity to qualify the Nurses.
Healthcare agencies will supply NHS and Private hospitals, Primary Care Trusts (PCT's)
Social Care Recruitment agencies supply unqualified and qualified members of staff to Local borough councils, Residential care homes, children care homes, supported living and social housing projects.
Typically, like in Healthcare agencies must be on a PSL agreement or VMS (Vendor Master service) however a vast amount of business is "off frame work"
Supply usually is for GSCC Qualified Social workers or unqualified Social workers.
Social Care agencies will supply in different departments within the Social care sector including, Adult services, children’s services, Mental Health, Youth offending and Fostering.
Nurses are sometimes also required such as RMN’s and RGN’s.
